M. Wendy Germani, FCAS, MAAA, CPCU, ARM, ARP
Ms. Germani joined the firm after serving as Supervising Examining Actuary for the Texas Department of Insurance, where she worked on the financial examinations of domestic insurance companies by assessing the adequacy of loss reserves, reviewing actuarial opinions and company accounting issues, and interviewing company personnel. Ms. Germani was a member of several NAIC task forces, including the Casualty Actuarial Task Force and the Capital Adequacy Task Force. She also assisted in the writing of Model Laws and instructions for the new Actuarial Opinion Summary and in the addition of a new test for the P&C Risk Based Capital. Prior to joining the Texas Department of Insurance, Ms. Germani was the Vice President & Chief Actuary of Ranger Insurance Company.
Ms. Germani received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Rice University, Texas. She received her MBA from the University of Houston. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, an Associate in Risk Management, and an Associate in Research and Planning.
