Joseph W. Pitts, FCAS, MAAA Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pitts was the Senior Vice President and Appointed Actuary for the Assurant Group, where he directed and managed the loss reserving and pricing functions. Prior to joining Assurant, Mr. Pitts was the Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for Gainsco, Inc. His experience also includes serving as Actuary and Manager for USAA, Deputy Commissioner for the Texas DOI, and Actuarial Analyst for the Oklahoma DOI. Mr. Pitts received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Oklahoma State University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. previous page |
